Description: Polaris (Alpha Ursae Minoris), commonly called North Star or Pole Star, is a triple star system located in the Ursa Minor Constellation, and it’s also the brightest star of the Constellation. This star is the brightest star close to the North Celestial Pole, which is why it is also know as the Polar or North star. The Polaris system is dominated by a yellow supergiant and two (less bright) F-class stars, a little more massive than the Sun.
